Precision training is a primary focus here at PJ Helicopters. It
ensures our pilots perform their jobs while following the safest,
FAA-compliant procedures.
PJ Helicopters’ pilots are experienced and highly
motivated--willing to be trained to fly in sensitive wire
environments, fires, and special projects flying 100 to 150-foot
longlines. Pilots are capable of flying in a wide variety of
helicopters in diverse and adverse conditions.
We have refined our specialized training over our 30 years in business
and require all newly hired pilots to complete several programs.
Yearly recurrent training is mandatory for all pilots as well.
Training at PJ Helicopters may include, but is not limited to, initial
Part 135 Training, Mountain Flying Techniques, Powerline Patrol
Techniques, Powerline Construction Techniques, Rappel, Shorthaul,
Insulator Wash, Water Bucket Training, Aerial Mapping, and general
Fire Training.
Our pilots’ experience, confidence and motivation is a direct
result of PJ Helicopter’s training processes.
We complete the job efficiently and professionally every time. Our
customers keep coming back.
